Tight deadlines, heavy workloads, difficult situations, and constant pressure can leave us feeling mentally and physically exhausted. When work-related stress continues for a long time, it can affect our well-being. In this article, we will cover some solution that can help you feel calmer, and protect your mental and physical health.
1. Overthinking, Write it down
At the end of the day, write down:
- What I finished today
- What still needs to be done
- The 3 most important tasks for tomorrow
This gives your brain a clear plan.

2. Breaks to reset the mind
Every 60–90 minutes, take 5–10 minutes away from your screen. Stand up, walk, stretch, or get some fresh air.
Even a short walk can help you mentally reset.

3. Orginize is gold
Prioritize your tasks:
Urgent + important → do first
Important but not urgent → schedule
Not important → postpone or eliminate
Trying to constantly multitask often makes work feel more overwhelming.

4. Me time
When your workday finishes, try to have a clear transition:
Work → commute/walk → exercise/shower → dinner → personal time
Avoid immediately checking work emails or messages unless your job genuinely requires it.

6. Take care of your body
The basics matter more than they seem:
- Regular sleep schedule
- Exercise or walking
- Enough water
- Regular meals
- Limit excessive caffeine
7. Identify the problem is key
Ask yourself:
What exactly about my work is stressing me?
It could be:
- Too much workload
- Deadlines
- Difficult colleagues
- Fear of making mistakes
- Lack of control
- Constant emails/messages
- Long working hours
- Boredom or lack of motivation
Once you identify the cause, you can resolve the specific problem rather than just trying to “relax.”
